This popular international hub serves the west, north-west and Midland regions of Ireland as well as providing access to over 25 destinations across the globe. Its fantastic location means that the award winning airport provides easy access to other areas of Ireland with a range of reliable public transport options.
If you're likely to be driving to the airport you can find a car park containing over 1,500 spaces for both short-term and long-term parking with a tariff which can be paid by card. The car park closes at 18.30 each evening.
The airport is well-equipped in terms of public transport with a regular bus service providing access to the local area as well as the local train stations, Claremorris and Ballyhaunis.
The taxi rank is located outside the terminal building where a fleet of cab companies service the airport although passengers are advised to book in advance. A limousine service is also available to pre-book.
If you're intending to explore more of Ireland you might want to consider hiring a car for your convenience. Many car rental companies work with the airport, including Avis, with booking available on their respective websites.
High speed wireless broadband access is available to all visitors and passengers within the terminal building. To use the connection passengers should consult any of the retail outlets. Two coin-operated internet kiosks can also be found in the Sláinte Restaurant situated on the first floor of the terminal building, alongside two more kiosks in the Departures area.
A new 300-acre business park is currently in the midst of development on site but in the meantime passengers can make use of the Executive Lounge where they can enjoy complimentary refreshments, magazines and TV in luxury surroundings. A prayer room is also available for private reflection.
