Whether you're travelling to or from the airport, there are a number of transport options available.
If you are flying from the Isle of Man and wish to take your own car, the airport has a car park. There is no need to pre-book and the service is relatively cheap. There is no charge for the first hour for the purposes of picking up and dropping off passengers. Meanwhile, it will cost around '3.50 a day to leave your car at the airport. There is no train service on the island but there is a good bus service. The bus stop is located directly outside the airport terminal and buses travel between the airport and the towns of Douglas, Santon, Ballasalla, Castletown and Port Erin.
You may wish to take a taxi upon arrival at Isle of Man Airport. Most destinations on the island are covered by fixed fares and the taxi rank is located outside the entrance of the terminal building. It is possible to pre-book a taxi but it is not usually necessary.
If you are travelling to the Isle of Man to explore this delightful island, you may wish to hire a car. A number of car hire companies have offices or contact telephones at the airport. It is possible to book before you go but unless you are travelling at a particularly busy period, such as during the Isle of Man TT, it is not usually necessary.
If you're travelling to or from Isle of Man Airport for business and you need to work on the go, the airport has all the facilities you will need.
There is a wireless internet service passengers can use in the departure lounge and buffet areas, so you can check those last minute emails prior to travel.
There are also facsimile and photocopying services available at the airport if needed. There is a meeting room which can be booked if required.
