If you are travelling to or from Isle of Man Airport, it may be useful to know a little about the transport links on the island and the airport's facilities before you go.

Transport links and parking

Whether you're travelling to or from the airport, there are a number of transport options available.

Isle of Man Airport parking

If you are flying from the Isle of Man and wish to take your own car, the airport has a car park. There is no need to pre-book and the service is relatively cheap. There is no charge for the first hour for the purposes of picking up and dropping off passengers. Meanwhile, it will cost around '3.50 a day to leave your car at the airport. Isle of Man Airport by public transport

There is no train service on the island but there is a good bus service. The bus stop is located directly outside the airport terminal and buses travel between the airport and the towns of Douglas, Santon, Ballasalla, Castletown and Port Erin.

Isle of Man Airport by taxi

You may wish to take a taxi upon arrival at Isle of Man Airport. Most destinations on the island are covered by fixed fares and the taxi rank is located outside the entrance of the terminal building. It is possible to pre-book a taxi but it is not usually necessary.

Isle of Man Airport car hire

If you are travelling to the Isle of Man to explore this delightful island, you may wish to hire a car. A number of car hire companies have offices or contact telephones at the airport. It is possible to book before you go but unless you are travelling at a particularly busy period, such as during the Isle of Man TT, it is not usually necessary.

If you're travelling to or from Isle of Man Airport for business and you need to work on the go, the airport has all the facilities you will need.

Internet access

There is a wireless internet service passengers can use in the departure lounge and buffet areas, so you can check those last minute emails prior to travel.

When not travelling with an adult of at least 16 years of age, some children can be carried under the Unaccompanied Minor Scheme* on flybe operated flights.

The Flybe Unaccompanied Minor Scheme is not available to children under 15 years of age on flights operated by Air France. These must be booked directly with Air France.

The Flybe Unaccompanied Minor Scheme is not available through Knock - Ireland West (NOC).
