Transport links and parking

Bristol Airport is well served by local transport so it is easy to travel from the airport into the city.

Parking at Bristol Airport

If you are flying from Bristol and would like to take your own car, there are parking facilities available. The short stay car park, for stays of up to three days, is a short walk from the terminal building, while the long stay car park is served by a free bus. There is no need to book prior to travel but you will save money if you book in advance. There is also a pick-up and drop-off car park located near to the terminal. The charge is '1 for 20 minutes.

Bristol Airport by public transport

There is no railway station at the airport and anyone travelling to Bristol who intends to use the train will have to travel to Bristol Temple Meads station, which is about 11km from the airport. However, the Bristol Airport Flyer express bus service travels between the station and the airport every 10 minutes at peak times, making it easy to connect to the rail service. The airport is also well served by the local buses.

Bristol Airport by taxi

There is a taxi service at Bristol Airport, which is operated by Checker Cars. The booking desk is located between the terminal building and the drop-off zone. There is no need to pre-book but you may wish to book in advance to save time.

Bristol Airport car hire

If you are taking one of our cheap flights to Bristol and would like to hire a car, a number of car hire companies have offices at the airport, close to the terminal building.

The airport has good facilities for anyone who is travelling for business and needs to work on the go.

The airport offers wireless internet access throughout the terminal. The service is easy to use - simply open your browser and follow the payment instructions.

The airport has several meeting and conference rooms available and anyone wishing to use these facilities should contact the airport prior to travel. There are also fax and photocopying services available at an additional cost.
