Birmingham Airport is well served by the local public transport and so it is easy to travel between the airport and the city.
If you are flying from Birmingham Airport and wish to bring your own car, there are parking facilities available. There is short/medium stay parking as well as long stay parking. There is no need to pre-book, although booking in advance is usually cheaper. There is also the option of valet parking and the airport has pick-up and drop-off points for travellers too.
The airport is not served directly by the train but there is a free 'Air-Rail Link' monorail system which takes passengers to and from Birmingham International Station. This makes continuing your journey by rail straightforward. The airport is also well served by the local bus services as you can travel to Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull and Erdington from the airport.
There are taxis available 24 hours a day outside the airport terminals. There is no need to pre-book. It may be useful to know that all black cabs accept major credit cards and will also provide receipts on request.
