Applying for a card

How do I apply for my Flybe Card?
It’s easy to apply for your Flybe Card. Simply visit www.flybe.com/card to complete your application or apply by calling 0871 376 9222 (calls cost 10 pence per minute from BT landlines; calls from other networks may be higher)

Who is eligible to apply for a Flybe Card?
UK (including Isle of Man and Channel Islands) residents aged 18 years and over with a UK (including Isle of Man and Channel Islands) bank or building society account. You will need to provide a landline telephone number for home or work and have a regular source of income through full-time or part-time employment of more than 16 hours per week (this can be you or your partner), or be a student, retired or on incapacity benefit. Finally, you need to have a clean credit history, ie, no arrears, defaults, County Court Judgments (CCJs), bankruptcies or Individual Voluntary Agreements (IVAs). You will also need to provide an active email address in order for you to register with the Rewards4all programme.

Is applying online secure?
Yes. Our application process uses industry standard security protocols and 128 bit SSL encryption. This prevents your personal details from being viewed by anyone else.

How long will it take to complete the application?
An application takes about 10 minutes to complete. It's best to have all the information you need to hand. These items are listed under the "Simple to Apply" link on the website.

How long will it take to get a decision?
Every application is reviewed individually to ensure we approve as many applications as possible. You should expect to hear from us within 7 to 10 days after you submit your application to us.

Do I need a particular internet browser to apply online?
Our online application process has been optimised to work with the most popular internet browsers - Internet Explorer version 5.5 or newer and Firefox version 1.0 or newer.

What happens if I partially complete an application?
We will not store any of your personal details unless you click "submit" at the end of the application process.

Can I have an additional cardholder on my account?
Yes. You can select the option to have an additional cardholder at Step 1 of the application process. Once you have received your credit agreement, you must ensure the additional cardholder signs it in the appropriate section before returning it to us.

When will I receive my Flybe Card?
Your Flybe card will be with you within 7 to 10 working days of your decision being communicated to you.

When will I receive my Flybe Card PIN?
Your PIN number will be sent to you directly after your card has been issued. These are sent out separately for security purposes.

What do I do if I have not received my Flybe Card PIN?
Please call the Flybe Customer Services team on 0800 783 5881. You can change your PIN at any ATM displaying the MasterCard logo.

Activating a card

How do I activate my Flybe Card?
Simply call the number on the sticker found on the front of your card.

Can I activate my Flybe Card via e-mail?
Unfortunately we cannot activate your card without speaking directly with you.

Who is the card issued by?
The Flybe Card is issued by Sygma Bank UK, Chadwick House, Blenheim Court, Solihull B91 2AA.

Rewards4all

What is Rewards4all?
During your application you may have heard ‘Rewards4all’ mentioned. The Rewards4all programme is the Flybe frequent flyer loyalty programme that offers all our passengers reward points for flying with us. The benefits that are offered are delivered through the Rewards4all programme and the Rewards4all terms and conditions apply to all redemptions. For more information visit www.flybe.com/rewards4all . Any Rewards4all points earned through your Flybe Card are added to your Rewards4all account, however your spend&fly points are subject to their own terms.

Registering your Rewards4all account

Why do I need to register for a Rewards4all account?
Your Flybe Card allows you to earn Rewards4all points every time you shop. These points are stored in your Rewards4all account, along with any Rewards4all points you may have earned from booking Flybe flights.

How do I register for a Rewards4all account?
To register for a Rewards4all account visit the flybe website www.flybe.com and click on the register link in the top right corner of the screen. You will be asked to complete an online form with your personal details. On submitting your details and activation email will be sent to your email address. Please respond to this activation email to complete the registration process.

Do I need to register a new Rewards4all account to get my Flybe Card points if I already have one?
If you already have a Rewards4all account you do not need to register a second account to collect your Flybe Card points. Just inform Flybe of the email address you have used to register your account, using the ‘Claim your bonus flight’ slip on your welcome letter, sent with your first statement, and we will add your points to your current account. . Please also ensure that when applying for the Flybe Card you provide the same email address that you have registered to your current Rewards4all account. This is so we can reconcile your points.

I have forgotten what details I used to register, what shall I do?
If you have forgotten your account log in details please contact our Flybe Card Rewards4all team at spend&fly@flybe.com and they will assist you in gaining access to your account.

I am not sure if I have previously registered, what shall I do?
If you are unsure whether you have previously registered an online customer account please contact our Flybe Card Rewards4all team at spend&fly@flybe.com . They will check for your account and assist you with gaining access or registering a new account.

I have already registered but would like to change my email address or personal details, what shall I do?
You can change all your account information by accessing your account and clicking on the ‘My Personal Details’ menu option. This will allow you to change your email address and personal information that you originally registered with. Please ensure that if you decide to change the email address that you have registered with your Rewards4all account, that is corresponds with the email address you supply when applying for the Flybe Card. This is so we can reconcile your points.

I supplied the wrong email address when applying for my customer account, what shall I do?
If you are concerned that Flybe hold the incorrect information for your online customer account please contact the Flybe Card Rewards4all team at spend&fly@flybe.com and they will update your personal records. Please ensure that when you update the email address you have registered with your Rewards4all account, that is corresponds with the email address you supply when applying for the Flybe Card. This is so we can reconcile your points.

If there are two card holders on the credit card account, do we need to register two Rewards4all accounts?
No, only the main Flybe Card account holder will receive points for all purchases made using either of the credit cards. The Rewards4all account must be registered in the name of the main credit card account holder for the Flybe Card points to be allocated correctly.

Can my Flybe Card points be added to someone else’s account?
No, to collect your points you must register your own customer account using your own details.

What information will I need to supply when registering an online customer account?
In order to become a Member you must provide us with a valid e-mail address, and your full name, household address, contact telephone number and date-of-birth. The name that you provide must match the name on your passport or any other photographic id that you use to travel. Your Account will be closed if we find that you have provided false details to us deliberately. When setting up your Account, you must provide a password and a security question that you will have to state to access your account. It is your responsibility to keep these details confidential. It is your responsibility to ensure that your account details are kept up-to-date. This can be done by logging on to your account at Flybe.com and choosing the option ‘Update Details’.

Are there any terms and conditions applied to registering an online customer account?
The terms and conditions for registering your online customer account are the same as when registering your account for the Rewards4all programme. Please visit the website www.flybe.com/rewards4all/terms.htm for more information.

Introductory offer - Bonus European flight

How do I get my introductory bonus flight?
On making your first purchase, Flybe will send you a welcome letter with your first statement. On receipt of this letter you will find a ‘Claim your bonus flight’ slip at the bottom of the page, which must be checked and returned to Flybe to the FREEPOST address, supplied on the letter. Once Flybe has received your data confirmation slip we will issue your bonus flight vouchers that can be redeemed for any flight of your choice. You will be able to book your bonus flights via our reservations team on 0871 700 2000. (calls cost GBP 0.10 pence per minute; calls from mobiles and some networks may be higher)

Is there a minimum spend to get the introductory bonus flight?
There is no minimum spend to gain your introductory bonus flight. Whether your first purchase is a tank of petrol or a new TV, Flybe will issue your bonus flight vouchers on confirmation of your first purchase.

How do I book my introductory bonus flight?
Once you have received your bonus flight voucher in the post you will be able to book any Flybe flights of your choice via our reservations team on 0871 700 2000 (calls cost 10 pence per minute from BT landlines; calls from other networks may be higher). You will not be able to book your bonus flights online via the Flybe.com website.

Can the introductory bonus flight be for another person?
The introductory bonus flight voucher will be in the name of the voucher bearer, however for any ongoing points earned subsequently to Rewards4All and flights earned, Rewards4all members are able to book redemption flights online for anyone they choose.

Are their any restrictions when booking my introductory bonus flight?
Terms and conditions apply. Bonus flight promotion can only be booked by calling 0871 700 2000 (calls cost 10 pence per minute from BT landlines; calls from other networks may be higher) and cannot be booked online. Your bonus return flight to the UK or Europe voucher covers air fare costs only; but not taxes and any other charges related to the booking. Payment of relevant taxes, fees and charges are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid in full at the time of booking. Credit card promotional bonus flights are limited and subject to availability; all bonus flights related to this offer are capacity controlled during peak periods such as school, and UK bank holidays. Greater seat availability is offered for off peak and high frequency flights. Tickets are available on Flybe and Loganair scheduled services and exclude other franchise and codeshare services and are strictly subject to availability. At least 14 days notice must be given when booking.

Earning Rewards4all points

How many points do I earn when I spend?
For every £250 you spend on your Flybe Card you will receive 1 Rewards4all point. Please note Balance Transfer transactions do not earn Rewards4all points.

How do I receive my Rewards4all points?
Your Rewards4all points will be added to your Rewards4all account automatically. Your points are processed on a monthly basis and will be added to your account within two weeks of the date you receive your monthly credit card statement.

How can I view my point balance?
To view your balance simply log into your customer account and click the menu option ‘My Rewards4all points’ on the left side of the screen. Here you will find a point summery and all your points transactions.

Do the Flybe Card Rewards4all points expire?
Flybe card Rewards4all points expire 12 months after they are allocated if they are not used. When your Flybe Card points are added to your Rewards4all points balance, your Flybe Card points will be used first when you make a redemption so that any non expiring points remain.

Spending Rewards4all points

What can I spend my Rewards4all points on?
You will be able to spend your Rewards4all points on the following redemption options:

  • 16 Reward Points  = 1 return UK Economy flight
  • 20 Reward Points  = 1 year executive lounge access
  • 22 Reward Points  = 1 return UK Flybe Economy Plus flight
  • 24 Reward Points  = 1 return European Economy flight
  • 30 Reward Points  = 1 return European Flybe Economy Plus flight

How do I book a bonus flight with my points?
Once you have collected enough points you can book a bonus redemption flight via your online customer account by clicking on the ‘Book a flight’ menu option. Reservations can only be made in this way and not through our call centre.

Are there any conditions on booking bonus flights?
Bonus flights booked through your online customer account are subject to the same rules as our Rewards4all loyalty programme. To read the full terms and conditions for booking flights through the rewards4all programme please visit the website www.flybe.com/rewards4all . Alternatively, FAQ’s are available through your customer account by clicking on the ‘Rewards4all Q&A’ menu option.

How do I get my Flybe Lounge Access card?
Once you have collect 20 Rewards4all points you will be able to apply for a Flybe Premier Card offering you 12 months access to our Flybe Executive lounges. To order your card simply e-mail premiercard@flybe.com with your name, address, current Reward point balance and your customer log in (e-mail address). Your 20 points will be deducted from your account and your premier card will be ordered. Please note it could take up to 21 days to deliver your card from the date of your application.

How long is my Flybe lounge access card valid for?
The card will be valid for 12 months from the date of receipt.

At which Airports will I receive lounge access with my Flybe Lounge access card?
A Rewards4all Premier card will gain you access to Flybe lounges only, which are available at Belfast City, Birmingham, Guernsey, Jersey, London Gatwick, Southampton, Inverness, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Exeter and Manchester. The Flybe Premier Card will not gain you access to any of our partner lounges.

My Flybe Card Rewards4all points have not yet been added to my online customer account, what shall I do?

Card benefits

What are the card benefits?

  • Jet off with a bonus European flight when you activate and spend on your Flybe Card (For bonus flight terms and conditions, visit www.flybe.com/card. Bonus offer excludes taxes and any other charges relating to the booking)
  • Get rewarded with Flybe's very own loyalty scheme, Rewards4all - earn one point for every £250 you spend (Rewards4all points must be used within one year of the statement date on which they are first awarded. See www.flybe.com/rewards4all. Rewards4all points are not awarded for Balance Transfer transactions.)
  • Enjoy priority access to special flight promotions
  • 0% p.a. interest for 6 months on all Balance Transfers made within 90 days of account opening (Subject to eligibility, availability of funds and Account Terms and conditions. A fee of 3% (minimum fee £3) applies to all Balance Transfers)
  • Free additional card - share the benefits of the Flybe Card with your partner (The main cardholder is solely responsible for any purchases/transactions made by the additional cardholder).
  • Easy Cash Access - make cash withdrawals up to £300 at most ATMs anywhere in the world with your Flybe Card. Or transfer cash from your Flybe Card account directly into your bank/building society account over the phone (Subject to eligibility, availability of funds and Account Terms and conditions. A fee of 3% (minimum fee £3) applies to all Cash Advance transactions.)
  • No interest to pay for up to 50 days, dependent upon when you make your purchase and your statement date.

Does the card have an annual fee?
There is no fee for the Flybe card.

What are the APRs for the card?
Typical 16.9% APR variable. Applicants for credit are subject to status. Applicants for credit must be aged 18 or over and UK resident (including Isle of Man and Channel Islands).

Using your Flybe card

Can I use my Flybe Card online?
Yes. Just look out for the MasterCard name or symbol in the payment options.

How will I know how much I owe?
You will be sent statements regularly through the post detailing the transactions you have made on your MasterCard and when your bill is due to be paid.

What happens if I do not pay my account in full each month?
After making the minimum repayment on your account, it is up to you to decide on how much more to pay. Any balance that is unpaid will be carried forward and will show on next month's statement along with any interest that's accrued.

Will I be able to use my card as soon as it arrives?
For security, you will first need to sign the back of the card and then activate it by calling us on the number shown on your card.

Where can I use my card?
At over 24 million outlets worldwide. In fact, anywhere you see the MasterCard sign.

Can I withdraw cash using my card?
Yes. You can withdraw cash from any ATM that displays the MasterCard sign both in the UK and abroad. Please see the terms and conditions for the charges payable.

What do I do if I lose my card or it has been stolen?
Call 0800 783 5881 immediately from the UK or +44 (0) 1217 126952 from abroad.

What is the minimum monthly payment I need to make?
Please see the Summary Information link on Step 1 of the application process for details.

How long will it be before I am charged interest on purchases?
Depending on when you make your purchase and your statement date, you can have up to 50 days without paying interest.

How do I make payments on my card account?
You have a number of choices. By bank giro, by cheque using the payment envelope we will send you with your statement, by Maestro (Switch) card over the telephone, and telephone or internet banking through your bank.

How can I arrange for a higher/lower credit card limit?
