Flybe is happy to accommodate registered guide and assistance dogs on all domestic services including flights from the UK to the Channel Islands and Eire. Dogs must accompany the owner, at their feet, at all times. An adjacent seat will be left free for additional comfort.

On international routes Flybe carry assistance dogs that are members of the PETS passport scheme and which are correctly documented.

On flights to the UK Flybe can carry guide dogs on routes approved by DEFRA and where the airport of arrival has facilities to receive and clear the arrival of an assistance dog.  Not all airports have this facility, so please check the list of approved routes.

It is the owners responsibility to ensure that all health checks, vaccinations and paperwork relating to the carriage of the dog are up to date and in order.

Assistance dogs

Fybe accept recognised assistance dogs on our approved international routes. Assistance dogs must comply with the PETS passport scheme and DEFRA requirements.

Additional information

Assistance dogs will be refused travel if the dog has travelled through or spent time in a non-approved third country. Please see the DEFRA website for a list of approved non EU countries and approved eu countries.
